Golden sunset Hand Painted Shawl

Light, warm and resistant, organic GOTS certified wool is an ethical and beautiful material that we use to create unique hand painted accessories. The fabric is first hand-painted and then rolled up in reused paper and baked in the oven for 5 hours in a mixture of vinegar and water which then turns into steam. This method sets the colors and it is applied using electricity from renewable sources. Finally, these accessories are air-dried. The thread used for our organic wool accessories is made of peace silk, which takes the color of the rest of the foulard, scarf, shawl or poncho during the dying process. With this item you will recive a hand-crafted bag with the brand's logo, a leaflet that talks about the work and philosophy of Bettina Buttgen and another leaflet that shows you you the many ways in which this item can be worn.
